Working currently on an NEC IPK w/ paging. Customer has Valcom Self-Amp paging horns (10-15 of them) and have a V2003A Multi-Zone amp. The Amp is connected through a CO Port.
There are three zones total. One zone has music, the other two have no music.
A majority of the phones are DTH-8D-1, 8-button phones. They are using all 8 lines and want to keep the lines squared not pooled.
Hooked up the Paging amp to line 9 in the system. The Operator can page by pressing line 9 and the zone. However none of the other 8-button phones can page (Since they don't have access to line 9).
QUESTIONS: Can the 8-button phones access line nine with a feature or access code?
Does anyone have any ideas regarding the Valcom V2003A. Can it be programmed to work w/ an extension port. The extension would be dialed and then the zone?
Any would would be MUCH appreciated!

Yes, you can access a trunk by dialing #9 and 3 digit trunk number, in your case it would be: #9009.
You can also purchase a PGD(2) Adapter that connects to a ESI Port. Then you would use the ext page access codes. Each PGD can support two zones. System programming also allows you to turn on and off BGM through ext zones.

Another idea would be to give all the phones identical cap keys to simulate a squared system & assign line 9 to button 8.

Fastest way is to program CO9 on button 9 in memory block 4-12. It will still work even if you have all 8 button phones. Put CO9 in say trunk group 06 and make an access code like 8 equal a 106 in memory block 1-1-46/47.
End users can dial 8 then hear valcom tone and dial the zone number. They will not see a light lit on the phones but it will still work.
PGD's are only used on the IPKII, they will not work on an IPK.
