I have an X-116 that is a few years old and almost all the displays are so dim that they are useless. There is one newer pink phone that is about half brightness.

They have been dim for a long time but no one thought to call me.

Have you ever seen this before?

I'm going out Thursday with a new phone but right now their T-1 is down so I can't make a call anyway.

Thanks, Bracha

That's not uncommon. Not sure why.

I installed two new phones and they are bright as can be so don't think it is the ksu or ps.

Any other guesses than bad phones?

Thanks, Bracha

Wondering how your system is wired? total length of runs ? Looped runs ? live jacks no telephones ? Direct runs? I have only installed 1 -x16 - 7 telephones ,with 1 adapter for cordless,,about a 1 month ago. No problems yet.

Virtually all of our X16's have displays that are very dark now.

I'm assuming they aren't using LEDs for the display but some kind of cheap electro florescent display. We quit selling them because of this issue.
