DSX40 with 8 COs
The customer has a manual schedule set using the night mode key on x301. They have that phone forwarded to an outside line manually entering the number, not using a speed bin or going to a voicemail box depending on the caller's keypress. The message is to press 1 to leave a message or press 2 to get the after hours agent (which is forwarded from x301 manually).
Dial action table: 1: Record w/greeting, 301, UTRF 2: Unscreened Transfer, 301, None
Now I'm being told by the customer that regardless of what you do, the call doesn't go out when option 2 is pressed.
Originally the problem was lines 5-8 were not set to enable Tandem calls. It only took a two hour hold with NEC support to figure that one out. I'm trying to save a step.
Thanks

You have 2:Unscreened transfer,301, None
Why is none there?

Now I'm being told by the customer that regardless of what you do, the call doesn't go out when option 2 is pressed. did you test it yourself ? Did it work initially when you set it up and then quit or did it never work ? They have that phone forwarded to an outside line manually entering the number, not using a speed bin have the customer manually forward 301 to the external number (or any number ) then call it internally . intercom calls should forward, until that works it wont work with the DAT what is set in 1406 ?

If the phone is forwarded, it immediately calls out if you dial from another extension

Then its a DAT issue , I think Dan's got it
If you are set: Action .... Routing None .... 301 (nothing will happen as you describe )
should be set : Action ..... Routing UTRF ...... 301 that will send the call to 301

https://www.imgpaste.net/image/4anr3This is how it's set now. If you press 2, it does not dial out but rather goes to voicemail.

I would also confirm if all other settings are correct is if the system is looking in the right DAT table.

Does time out work? If so, remove the unscreened transfer from the dialed transfer column.
