phonemeister - tried that, didn't seem to make a difference.
telephonyman - the sys_* system parameters are all at default. i just tried it with a phone on fri and it did do the same thing. i looked at the integration patterns, but honestly don't know enough about them to feel comfortable changing it. as for an MCG, i'm trying to do the opposite... forward a DN to another DN.
iowaphones - it appears to work the same way on any phone or extension that i try it on.
my not-so-elegant solution: i'm going to change 123 to a phDN and place it on 113 for the time being. i created a SCF specifically for my phone but that didn't change anything either. it's weird... it's like it's ringing 4 rings per extension tried, but it just rings them all at the destination.
thanks for the suggestions! i'm going to set up the ext as a phDN for now, but if anyone has any other tricks, i'm all ears.
