Legend R7
What is the procedure to transfer a call to an outside number from an analog station? I'm answering an incoming call, flash, dialing 9 and the outside number, flash,(all parties are connected) and hanging up. The call disconnects. Am I missing or adding a step?

Bottom line, you CAN'T transfer to an outside number from a S/L phone on a Legend or Magix.

However, if you always transfer to the same number, you can set up a phantom extension number that is forwarded to the outside number, and transfer to that extension instead.

Thanks TTT. Can an SLT be forwarded to an offsite number?

Yes, you must give it Remote Forward capability though.

Once that's set up, the forwarding is done like this:

OFF HOOK, Dail #33, Dial 9 and then the NUMBER and then press # again.

You should hear a confirmation tone at that point.

RULE NUMBER 2, "THINKIN' WON'T GET IT, YOU GOTTA KNOW!" RULE NUMBER 3, if you need TIER-3 SUPPORT on a LEGEND or MAGIX, go to http://home.comcast.net/~merlinman -

Merlinman,
It worked like a charm, though I found the code is *33.
