hey guys,
I have a customer that their vm server has a bad HD and we want to move it to a new server.
I have a couple of quick questions.
i found IP Office 7.0.17 Voicemail Pro Software GA Release.
can i just install this onto the new server, reconfigure, reprogram, and be working fine?
what about licensing? is it just in the IPO?
is there anything strange i should be aware of with the configuration of the PC?
I have not done a new IPo in a couple of years and would rather be ready before i get out there.
thank you

Really depends on what release IPO you have.

Version 3.4 doesn't exist - release jumped from 3.2 to 4.0. Voicemail Pro version should match phone system. Judging by the questions asked, I suspect that you're in a bit over your head. As a favor to your customer, consider bringing in a BP to assist.

It's 3.2 then. i know it is not 4 or up
the problem is the old vendor will not work with them unless they do a full upgrade on the phone system also. That is way out of the budget right now.
I would not mind getting assistance for this.

Two of our Avaya mods are from CA. I suggest you start there for assistance.
