Sorry to dig up an old thread. But I am having this issue trying to find ACD topics in the Toshiba forum. If you search "acd*" it comes up with just one thread but I know that I have seen many ACD threads in the Toshiba forum. As a matter of fact there is one that was posted today that doesn't show up on the search. Is there any way that the developers at UBB Central can fix the search function or am I searching things the wrong way?

Like I said above, sometimes you have to experiment. Tell me what you're looking for and I'll see if I can find it. Nothings changed In answer to the ACD question in Toshiba it finds ACD, but I only find two topics on ACD in the last 10 years, using advanced search. There's only 21 on the whole forum in the last 10 years.

Looks like it's working. Searched ACD in Toshiba and got several pages, no " or * needed. Thanks Tom.

Still sucks. I tried searching for T7406 in Nortel. No luck.
Tried: T7406, T-7406, "T7406" T7406*, etc
Also tried for all forums.
This needs to be fixed, or we'll just have to post on the open web & get our answers elsewhere....

Dave not sure what you're looking for but if I put in 7406 or "7406" in nortel and look the last 5 years I get 6 pages either way. You do have to keep trying different things until it give you what you're looking for.
